What It Means To Be a Member

Our membership is a diverse mosaic of Baton Rouge’s local leaders and professionals, drawn together by a shared commitment to service and fostering an atmosphere of equality and fellowship. Ideal members are passionate about making a meaningful impact and devoted to community betterment and personal development. First-year members are also tasked with developing and executing a group service project, deepening their community engagement and impact. Members are encouraged to attend as many meetings as possible during the Rotary year, but there are no attendance requirements to meet. All members are expected to serve and participate meaningfully on a committee each year.
